Fannie B. Mitchell

Mrs. Fannie B. Mitchell, 78, of Blytheville, died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born May 3, 1935, to the late Henry White and Bessie Ware White, she was a retired food server and housekeeper and a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Mitchell; two daughters, Joyce Laverne Mitchell and Patricia Mitchell; three sisters, Odell Pruitt, Georgia Lee Burns and Geneva Simmons; one brother, A.D. Ware; and one grandchild, Earnest L. Mitchell.

Mrs. Mitchell leaves two daughters, Evelyn Davis and Carol (and Randy) Davis, both of Ft. Worth, Texas;

Two sons, Charles White of St. Louis and Lawrence (and Darlene) Mitchell of Arlington, Texas; and

Ten grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Guyton officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home.
