Ethylen (Sally) Attaway

Mrs. Ethylen (Sally) Attaway, 93, of Paragould, formerly of Blytheville and Jonesboro, passed from this life Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Leachville to Arthur William and Maggie Irene Teeters Waller, she was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. Mrs. Attaway was a member of the Blytheville First Baptist Church for 66 years until she moved to Paragould and became a member of the Eastside Baptist Church. Sally loved the Lord, her family and her church family and will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Attaway; a brother, Jessie Waller; sisters Evelyn McGowan and Peggy McNeely; a niece, Mary Ann Taborsky; and a brother-in-law, Bart Edgin.

She is survived by her sister, Christeen Edgin of Paragould;

Nephews Jerry McNeely and wife, Carolyn, of Jonesboro, Lanny Edgin and wife, Connie, of Paragould, James Waller and wife, Virginia, of Kansas City, Kan., Jim McGowan and Rick McGowan;

Her nieces, Glenda Watkins and husband, Melvin, of Judsonia, Margie Sewell and husband, Wayne of Texarkana, Linda Joiner of McCrory, Paula Eifling and husband, John, of North Little Rock, Brenda Dodge and husband, Donnie of Jacksonville, and Sandy Mitchell of Wendell, N.C.; and

A sister-in-law, Evelyn Waller of Bald Knob.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville with the Rev. Dennis Scudder officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
