Lynn 'Steven' Eatmon

Mr. Lynn "Steven" Eatmon, 75, of Blytheville, passed from this life Monday, May 13, 2013, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Born in Marie to James Driver and Bonnie Jean Bohannon Eatmon, he was a master plumber who owned Arkansas Plumbing and Supply. Steven proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. He was an exquisite gardener and his family lovingly called him the backyard farmer. Steven was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and watching anything related to sporting events but his greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn McConaghay; and son-in-law, Robert Baker.

Steven is survived by his wife, Jeanette Cobb Eatmon of the home;

A daughter, Stephanie Lynn Baker of Oklahoma City, Okla.;

His grandchildren, James Allen Stroud and wife, Ashley, of Aurora, Col., and Christina Michelle Phillips and husband, Mark, of Moore, Okla.;

His great-grandchildren, Presley Evelyn Carter and Micah James Phillips, both of Moore, Okla.;

A brother, James Driver Eatmon Jr. of Taos, N.M.;

His sisters, Etta Jean Walker of Oklahoma, Joan Crowson of Kennett, Mo., and Jeanette George of Jonesboro; and

His step-mother, Opal Eatmon of Blytheville.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Barron, the Rev. Charles Privett, Stephanie Baker, Christina Phillips and Mr. James Stroud officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time Friday. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
