William R. 'Ray' Eubanks

Mr. William R. "Ray" Eubanks passed away Monday, April 29, 2013, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Pleasant Garden United Methodist Church in Pleasant Garden, N.C.

Mr. Eubanks was born in Osceola Jan. 7, 1954. He served in the United States Army and was a constituent of Pleasant Garden United Methodist Church. Mr. Eubanks was active in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and Randleman Chamber of Commerce. He owned and operated Ray's Way Burgers and More.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Everett and Vernell Byrd Eubanks; and a brother, James Tucker Eubanks.

Mr. Eubanks is survived by his wife, Susan Hassell Eubanks;

A daughter, Lynlee Eubanks (and Anthony Jr.) Davis;

His sisters, Marti (and Larry) Hanlin of Illinois; Luanne (and Jerry) McAuliffe of Charlotte, N.C.; and

Three grandchildren, Magnolia "Maggie" Ramsey, Miranda Davis and Makayla Davis.
