Earnest R. Chase

Mr. Earnest R. Chase, 89, of Marked Tree, died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Three Rivers Nursing Home in Marked Tree. Born June 21, 1923, to the late Robert Chase and Reanne Chase, he worked for Bray Butane Co. and was a member of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, John Wood.

Mr. Chase leaves his wife, Pearl Chase of Marked Tree;

Three daughters, Bonnie Killebrew of Onia, Diane Rogers of Gilmer, Texas, and Debra Thomas of Lepanto;

One son, Garth Ray Chase of Tyronza; and

Twelve grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at the Church of God in Marked Tree with Pastor David Fields officiating. Burial followed at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza. The family received visitors from 9-11 a.m. today at the Church of God in Marked Tree.
