William Birl Wilson

William Birl Wilson, 77, of Leachville, died Sunday April 7, 2013, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Leachville he was the son of the late Edward Lee and Jessie Lou Taylor Wilson and had been a Leachville resident most of his life. He was a retired machinist and was of the Assembly of God faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Wilson, and one sister, Linda McMinn.

He is survived by two sons, Ray Wilson of Leachville and David Sevier of Fayetteville; four daughters, Charlotte Wilson of Watervliet, Mich., Rebecca Clowers of Leachville, Danette Thomas of Concord and Jana Evans of Leachville; one brother, Johnny Wilson; six sisters, Zelma Buechel, Barbara Moore, Glenda Ford, Joanne Rice, Lois Taylor, and Martha Helms. He also leaves 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Lee Davis officiating. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 4 p.m. until service time. The family has requested private disposition.
