Mrs. Doris Warren, of Blytheville, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born Aug. 11, 1929, in Pleasant Plains, to Grover and Ethel Wilf, and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Blytheville.

Mrs. Warren was retired from the Blytheville School District where she had worked as Head Bookkeeper, Business Office Manager, and later as District Treasurer until her retirement following a 35-year career with the school system.

Following her retirement, she remained an active member in her church and served as outreach leader for many years. She was also a member of the Blytheville Women's Club.

She was a loving wife, sister, and aunt and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Joe Warren; her parents; brothers Woodrow Wilf, Boyce Wilf, Leland Wilf and Horace Lee Wilf; a sister, Velda Alexander; and nephews Milton Alexander and Larry Wilf.

She is survived by two brothers, Gale Wilf and his wife, Carol, of Blytheville, and Pete Wilf of Pleasant Plains;

Special nephews Mark Wilf of Memphis and his wife, Elesha, and Brett Kirk of Blytheville, and nephews Mike Wilf and his wife, Susan, of Amory, Miss., Tony Wilf and his wife, Cynthia, of Radford, Va., and Boyce Wilf Jr., of Lynden, Wash.;

Nieces Sherry Adcock and her husband, Ray, of Batesville, Paulette Booker of Osceola, Jimmie Lou Simpson and her husband, Lloyd, of Hobbs, N.M., Elizabeth May and her husband, Bill, of Little Rock, Judy Scott and her husband, Jim ,of Blue Springs, M0., and Nikki Brown and husband, Walt, of Seattle, Wash.;

Two sisters-in-law, Ruby Mitchell of Jackson, Tenn., and Doris Jean Wilf of Lynden, Wash.; and

Several great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Blytheville, with funeral services immediately following at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
