Mrs. Annie Mae Lambert, 82, of Leachville passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Mrs. Lambert was born April 25, 1930, in Charlotte, Ark., to the late Van and Muriel Jackson. Mrs. Lambert was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Manila and taught school at West Ridge, Caraway and Leachville. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in education from Lyons College and her Masters at Conway.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Epter Lambert; three sons, Charles Lambert and wife Sheila of Leachville, Willis Lambert and wife Amy of Leachville, and Edd Lambert and wife Lorrie of Ripley, Tenn.; one daughter, Anna Mincey and husband Matt of Winter Haven, Fla.; two sisters, Lathea Carlile and husband Dub of Desha, Ark., and Jane Thompson and husband Olan of Cabot, Ark.; one brother, Van Jackson and wife Brenda of Batesville, Ark.; two grandsons, Josh and Kevin of Leachville; one granddaughter Lorne of Ripley, Tenn.; one great-grandson Colton; and a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at Calvary Baptist Church, Manila, with Rev. Eddie Hawkins officiating. Interment followed at Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

The family received visitors at the church on Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers were Mark Johnson, Tim Thomas, Kenneth Cole, John Ashabranner, Joey Barnes and Tommy Stone.
