Alex Boyce

Mr. Alex Royce, 74, of Osceola, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2013, in Osceola. Born June 30, 1938, to the late Ralph Boyce and Essie Mae Boyce, he was a car detailer and a member of New Mt. Pleasant Christian Worship Center.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Lucy Payne; and three brothers, Joe Boyce, Perry Boyce and Alfred Boyce.

Mr. Boyce is survived by his wife, Ruth Boyce of Osceola;

Three daughters, Linda Coleman of West Palm Beach, Fla., Edith Boyce of Osceola and Betty Boyce of Blytheville;

Five sons, James Cypress of Lepanto, Alexander Boyce of Columbus, Ohio, Calvin Boyce and Fred Boyce of Osceola and Dewayne Boyce of Jonesboro;

Two sister, Martha Moore of Little Rock and Alma Harris of West Memphis; and

Twenty grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Mt. Pleasant Christian Center in Osceola with Bishop Gregory Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. The family will receive visitors from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at New Mt. Pleasant Christian Center in Osceola.
