Joann Million Eagan Jones

Mrs. Joann Million Eagan Jones, 59 of Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Blytheville, went to join her Heavenly Father Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at her residence. Born to Doyle and Norma Million in Pocahontas, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

Joann grew up in Blytheville and will best be remembered as a young girl who loved skating and hanging out with her sisters and friends at the Walker Park Skating Rink. Joann was a person who loved gardening but her favorite hobby was shopping with her daughter and sisters.

As a devoted mother, grandmother and sister, the time she spent with family and friends was special and precious to her, especially in the last few years. Joann's parents and son, Baby Eagan, preceded her in death.

Joann is survived by her husband, Lehman Jones of the home;

One son, Danny Eagan of Manchester, Mo.;

A daughter, Cindy Brooks and her husband, John, of Memphis;

Four grandchildren, Brandon Bowman, Kyle Bowman, Joanna Bonds and Danny Eagan;

Three sisters, Susan Ledbetter and her husband, Steve, of Gosnell, Vickie Million Alfrey of Mount Plymouth, Fla., Becky and her husband, Teddy Wadkins, of Pocahontas;

A brother, Billy Joe Lindsey of Peach Orchard, Ark.;

A special aunt and uncle, Ann and Don Loflin of Glenwood, Ark.;

A special nephew, Chris Jones of Gosnell, and

Many nieces, nephews and friends.

A gathering of friends and family to remember this special life will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bethany Baptist Church in Gosnell with the Rev. Gary Hyde officiating. Cobb Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com
