Robert Kenneth French

Mr. Robert Kenneth "Kenny" French, 58, of Atlanta, Ga., formerly of Leachville, died Wednesda,y Jan. 9, 2013, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born in Tulare, Calif., he was the son of the late Franklin Edward French and was raised in Leachville.

He was a 1973 graduate of Leachville High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Mr. French was a longtime resident of Atlanta and a retired truck driver. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother, Franklin Dewayne French.

He is survived by his mother, Zelma Ashabranner of Osceola;

His daughter, Melissa French of Covington, Ga.;

His step-son, James Reynolds of Mississippi;

His brother, Michael French of Burleson, Texas; and

His sister, Sharon Winford, of Osceola.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with the Rev. Michael Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.
