Chester Augusta Ross

Mr. Chester Augusta Ross, 78, of Trumann, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, in Trumann. Born April 15, 1934, to the late Ed Ross and Pearlie Mae Nolan, he was retired from the Marked Tree Co-Op.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Ruth Jackson; five sisters; and four brothers.

Mr. Ross leaves five sons, Ray Ross and Chester Ross of Trumann, Kenneth Ross and Ricky Ross of Fayetteville and Jimmy Ross of Marked Tree;

One sister, Stella Highlander of Medford, Ore.; and

Four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with Gary Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Bolivar Cemetery in Harrisburg. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza.
