Marie Elizabeth Hitson

Mrs. Marie Elizabeth Hitson, 73, of Marked Tree, died of heart failure Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, in Jonesboro. Born Jan. 23, 1939, in Trumann, she was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Richards and Nora Ann Klutts; and her husband, Jack Hitson.

Mrs. Hitson leaves three daughters, Kiyla Hitson and Linda Hicks of Marked Tree, and Julia Wray of El Dorado;

One son, Christopher Hitson of Marked Tree;

Three sisters, Gracie Privett of Trumann, and Donnie Starling and Elaine Rollins of Pendleton;

Three brothers, James Richards of Bay, Willie Richards of Jonesboro, and Clayton Richards of Trumann; and

Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services, officiated by Bro. James Raines and Bro. Lynn Vinson, will be held at 2 p.m. todayat Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery.
