Lucille Bell

Lucille Bell, 87, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at

Monette Manor. She was born June 25, 1925, at Black Oak to the late Floyd and Anna Bolton Smith. Mrs. Lucille was a homemaker and a member of the Mangrum Church of Christ. She enjoyed yard work, her farmland and her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Roger Bell of Caraway; a daughter and her husband, Madonna and Dewey Plunkett of Monette; seven grandchildren, James Lee Plunkett of Jacksonville, Jalena Bagley and husband Tommy of Manila, Michele Meadows and husband Rick of Jonesboro, Jo Ellen Sturgeon and husband Al of Malibu, Calif., Janna Brewer of Mountain Home, Heath Primm and wife Jennifer of Jonesboro and Tonya Mason and husband Chris of Caraway; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Bell.

A celebration of her life was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Gregg Funeral Home in Caraway with Joe May officiating. Buria followed at Caraway Cemetery.

Visitation was from noon until time of service, Saturday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were Nicholas Bagley, Tommy Bagley, Justin Bagley, Rick Meadows, Brett Brewer and Tommy Osborn.
