Melanie Renee Saliba Mayo

Mrs. Melanie Renee Saliba Mayo, 42, of Jacksonville, Fla., died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at her home. Born Aug. 16, 1970, to Tommy George Saliba and the late Edna Mae Layne Saliba, she lived in Blytheville until moving to Jacksonville in 1988. She had several interests and hobbies but first and foremost was her family.

In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Mark Allen; her mother-in-law Leonor D. Mayo; and her grandparents Gobber George Saliba, Addie Merle Saliba, Trinidad B. Desuyo and Wenceslao Desuyo.

Mrs. Saliba leaves her husband, Mike Mayo;

Two daughters, Lauren and Kristen Mayo;

Two brothers, Dadiv Saliba and Kevin (and Heidi) Saliba;

An aunt, Delores Roberts;

An uncle, Jerry Layne;

In-laws, Herman Mayo Jr., Debbie and John Yamaguchi, Lori and Lionel Bamba, Beverly and Paul Terlaje, Michelle and Steve Barbetti, Danny Mayo, Cindy Mayo and Shirley Mayo; and

A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Special acknowledgments go to close family and friends, including her medical providers, Dr. Kevin Boylan and staff, Dr. Alva Roche-Green, and others.

Funeral services were held at Faithbridge Church in Jacksonville Monday. Burial followed at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens. The family received visitors Sunday at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills in Jacksonville.
