Halloween event was what community needs
To the editor:
Halloween night I was very impressed when I drove down Main Street in Blytheville, and all the merchants were "trick-or-treating" for the children of our community.
I was very impressed to see the crowd on Main Street. I personally would like to give a huge thank-you to all the merchants and our Main Street organization -- that was a very special thing you did for our community.
Maybe next year we can even get more people involved for the children. Also, for those of you that took your children to Main Street, please remember these merchants when you do your shopping. This type of event is what a community is all about -- working together and supporting each other.
Thank you again -- Main Street organization and our downtown merchants and especially all the kids and parents! What an awesome event!
