Marshall V. Malone

Mr. Marshall V. Malone, 86, of Blytheville, passed from this life Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Born in Tomato to Louis and Fannie Harshman Malone, he attended Fairview Baptist Church and retired from Randall Company, where he was a supervisor.

Marshall proudly served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed working in his garden and yard, was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Arkansas Razorback fan, but his greatest enjoyment in life was his family. He was a loving husband for 69 years and a wonderful father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Arvil Malone, Virgil Malone and Leon Malone; and a sister, Dorothy Dingler.

Marshall is survived by his wife, Inez Adams Malone of the home;

His children, Joan A. Jones and her husband, Bill, and Angie Bell and her husband, Jimmy, both of Blytheville, and Doyle Dean Malone and his wife, Alice, of Deering, Mo.;

His grandchildren, Shannon Malone, Wesley Jones, Amber Jones, Matthew Bell, Quincy Malone and Megan Bell;

Seven great-grandchildren;

A brother-in-law, Max Dingler of Mt. Home; and

Many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Collin Jones and the Rev. Gary Hyde officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.
