Linda Christine Benham
Mrs. Linda Christine Benham, 40, of Manila, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at her home. Mrs. Benham was born Sept. 22, 1972, in Blytheville, to the late Linda Kay Eddings. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Manila, collected angels and porcelain dolls, enjoyed keeping up with events on Facebook, and she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Tony Benham of the home; three sons, Eugene Vancely and Anthony Benham of Manila, and Tony Benham, Jr.; three daughters, Linda Catherine Vancely of Manila, Jennifer Weist of Indiana, Sylvia Haskins of Manila; four sisters, Sandy Vancely of Manila, Glenda Owens and Theresa Mitchell of Jonesboro, and Gloria Macon of Paragould; two brother, Richard Goforth of Trumann and David Adams of Paragould; eight grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Mrs. Benham was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Melissa Benham; and one sister, Lisa Macon.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at First Baptist Church in Manila with Rev. Ferrell Duffle officiating. Interment followed at the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila.
The family received visitors from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Pallbearers were Clyde Langston, William Haskins, Albert Rutherford, Robert Weist, Brandon Ingram, Travis Benham, Tony Benham, Nicholas Vancely and Joe McQueen.
