Leroy Bailey

Mr. Leroy Bailey, 50, of Blytheville, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

He was a member of the US Army, worked for Montgomery Ward and was a Sunday School teacher at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Houston Bailey Sr. and a brother, Willie B. Bailey.

He leaves behind his mother, Lula Jean Diamond Bailey of Blytheville;

One grandmother, Luelle McChristian of Lansing, Mich.;

One uncle, Elder Sylvester (and Pat) Diamond of Lansing, Mich;

Two sisters, Priscilla Jean Bailey (and Franklin) Williams of Blytheville and Sandra Starr of Arizona; and

One brother, Houston Bailey Jr. of Memphis.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Bishop Theodis Rucker officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
