Mrs. Mildred Louise Berry, 79, of Manila, passed from this life Monday Oct, 8, 2012, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Manila, she was the daughter of the late Ed Brown and Juanita Bullock and had lived most of her life in Manila. A 1951 graduate of Manila High School, she was a retired bank teller and longtime member of the Business and Professional Women's club. Mrs. Berry was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church and was also active in the United Methodist Women's organization.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Mr. A.D. Berry of Manila;

Two daughters, Connie Joshlin of Brinkley and Sandra Watson and husband, Lee, of Trumann;

Five grandchildren, Amy Ward, Jonathan Watson, Jennifer Gordon, Lindee Salley and Tera Bishop; and

Five great-grandchildren, Brilee Medford, Sheridyn Salley, Millee Gordon, Turner Salley and Charleigh Watson.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. John Henson, the Rev. Allen Quinn, and the Rev. Jerry Pentecost officiating.
