Dr. William 'Scott' Clark

Dr. William "Scott" Clark, 75, of Blytheville, passed from this life Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at Jefferson Regional Hospital in Festus, Mo.

Born in Houston, Texas, to Hollis and Evelyn Butts Clark, Scott was a retired School Superintendent, a member of the Oregon Education Association, Athletic Director at Boys Town, Nebraska, an AARP member and was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two of his sons, Peter Clark and David Clark. An avid golfer, Scott was a member of Thunder Bayou Golf Course where his passion for the game of golf was matched only by his love for the sport of wrestling. He was an honored member of the Nebraska State Wrestling Association.

Dr. Clark is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Alba Hernandez Clark of Omaha, Neb.;

His children, Christopher and Sue Clark of Peachtree City, Ga., Gregory Clark of Phoenix, Ariz., Mark Clark of Bellevue, Neb., Matthew and Teresa Clark of Omaha, Steve and Manny Clark of Washington, DC, Martin and Angie Clark of Platte City, Mo., Anne and Alan Romaine of Hillsboro, Mo.;

Two brothers, Steven Clark of Dallas and Michael Clark of Greensboro, N.C.; and

Twenty-three grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Chapel in Westminster Village. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Humane Society of Blytheville. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
