Mrs. Dora Lee Ford Watson of Blytheville died Wednesday, Sept. 26. 2012, at Gosnell Therapy and Living Center. The daughter of Jim and Lillian Milhorn, she was born Sept. 10, 1927, in Blytheville. Dora Lee was a talented cook, seamstress, painter and fun grandmother. A lifelong member of the First Baptist Church, she loved teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Eddie W. Ford; a son, Eddie W. Ford Jr.; and her husband of 27 years, Dick Watson.

She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Ford Goff and husband, Ronny, of Blytheville, and Celia Watson Parrott and husband, Earl, of Columbia, Tenn.;

Her grandchildren, Lori Goff Hixson and husband, David, Leslie Goff Wells and husband, Kirk, Adam Parrott of Los Angeles, Tammy Morehead and husband, Rob, of Blytheville, and Eddie Ford III of Paragould;

Her great-grandchildren, Madeline Kate Hixson, Parker Goff Wells, Jack Preston Wells, Zach Hixson, Zach Morehead and Whitney Morehead;

Two sisters, Jimmie Davis and husband, Roland, of Idabel, Okla., and June Smith of Dell;

Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and

Very special friends, Florence Bennett, Liz Hughes, Inita Jones and Charlie Ann McKinney.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Blytheville, with the Rev. Steve Baillio officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, or to a charity of choice.
