Avery Curtis Bell

Mr. Avery Curtis Bell, 56, of Blytheville, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born Nov. 12, 1955, to Zeola Stokes Bell and the late Willie Bell Sr., he was a retired city worker for Blytheville and a member of the National Guard. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Bell leaves seven sisters, Rosie Thompson of Hobbs, N.M., Arleia Currin of Milwaukee, Wis., Tommie Johnson, Mary Ann McNeary, Debra Bell and Karen Bogan of Blytheville, and Linda McCoy of Dallas; and

Three brothers, Alvin Bell of Chicago, Willie Bell Jr. of Dallas, and Jonathan Bell of Milwaukee, Wis.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church with Charles Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church.
