Pauline E. Richardson Hulsey

Mrs. Pauline E. Richardson Hulsey, 90, of Blytheville passed from this life Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born to John Wesley and Birdie Harper Richardson in Blytheville, she was a lifelong resident, a homemaker and a member of the Ruddle Road Church of God.

Pauline lived her life as a wonderful wife, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a kind and gentle hearted lady who lived every day possible with a smile. Seldom has one woman been loved so much by so many. The love that Pauline received was a reflection of the love she passed on to all she came in contact with. Her unwavering faith in God was strongly rooted and was what sustained her these many years. She led her life by example and was an open book for all to read. By reading this book there was always a passage that pointed to salvation through Christ her Savior. Pauline was the foundation and support of her entire family. She loved being involved in all the church activities and was such a dedicated individual in the support of her church.

No matter how small or large of any act of kindness to her she would always make sure she thanked you. She will long be remembered for the times of feasting when she would go into the kitchen and "whip" up an abundance of food, through the many wonderful stories and the precious memories she left behind. This amazing woman did not learn to drive until she was 69 years of age. Every day Pauline's earnest prayer was for each and every one of her family to be reunited with her in heaven when their time would come.

In addition to Pauline's parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leamon "Jack" Hulsey; great grandchildren, Jody Wilson, Kenle Brewer; brothers, Buster Richardson, Drew Richardson, Gene Richardson, J.B. Richardson, Frank Richardson and Quincy Richardson; and sisters, Virgie Favors, Virlie Winter and Myrtle Mae Lucas.

Pauline is survived by her children, Jackie Alexander of Finley, Tenn., Billie Hess and husband Ron of Yukon, Okla., Larry Hulsey and companion, Marion Parrish, of West Memphis, Tony Hulsey and wife, Ann, of Owensboro, Ky., Joyce Green and husband, Elmer of Blytheville, Sandee Luke and husband, Larry, of Houma, La.; brothers, Elmer Richardson and wife Nancy of Fort Smith, and Charlie Richardson and wife Carolyn of Blytheville;

Twenty-two grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren; and

A host of brothers and sisters in Christ and friends.
