James Robert Yarbro

Mr. James Robert Yarbro, 74, of Osceola, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, in West Memphis. Born Jan. 14, 1938, in Portageville, Mo., he was a farmer and a Pentecostal.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henery Yarbro and Ethel Yarbro; three sons, James Edward Yarbro, Darrell Keith Yarbro and Danny Wayne Yarbro; one sister, Lee Neal; and one brother, Wesley Yarbro.

Mr. Yarbro leaves his wife, Christine Yarbro of Osceola;

Five daughters, Diane Maness of Jonesboro, Brenda Hodges of Houston, Shirley Shepherd of Paragould, Donna Nichols of Osceola and Tracy Elliott of Lawton;

Two sisters, Sue Yarbro of Manila and Frances Yarbro of Monette;

Four brothers, Thomas Yarbro of Ohio, George Yarbro of Kennett, William Yarbro of Jonesboro and Bobby Yarbro of Kennett; and

Fourteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Gary Andrews, will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
