Ruby B. Jordan

Ruby B. Jordan, 83, of Osceola, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at South Mississippi County Medical Center in Osceola. Born July 6, 1929, in Louisiana, she worked as a nanny for the family of Dr. Reggie Cullom for 28 years, and was a member of the Keiser Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Kelly and Ruby Lewis; and her husband, Arthur Jordan.

Mrs. Jordan leaves two daughters, Mary Hooks of Wichita, Kan., and Tonya Hooks of Keiser;

Four special children, Callie Fincher, Jo Booker, Ashley Hopkins and Sumner Cullom Jr., "her baby";

One sister, Georgia Lee Brooke of Wichita; and

Ten grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from noon-1 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will take place after visitation at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
