Marie Elizabeth Lewis

Mrs. Marie Elizabeth Lewis, 83, of Wilson, died Friday, July 13, 2012, at her home.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. John Full Gospel Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemmie McLaurin and Ola Jane;

Her spouse, Ruben Payne;

Three daughters, Edith Burns, Eva Lewis and Janie Brock; and

Three brothers, Lemmie McLaurin, Lennie L. McLaurin and Cindy McLaurin.

She leaves three daughters, Harvey Lee Branch of Luxora, and Terenda Goods and Rebecca Goods of Memphis;

Two sons, Charles Brock of Luxora and Larry Lewis of Hot Springs;

Two sisters, Pearlie Branch and Catherine Brown of Osceola;

Two brothers, James Earnest Love of Osceola and Robert John Love of Luxora;

Sixteen grandchildren; and

A host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2012, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John Full Gospel Church in Osceola with the Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery.
