Evelyn Mae Hill

Mrs. Evelyn Mae Hill, 89, of Blytheville, passed away Thursday July 5, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Royal Hill; and her children, Albert Campbell, Gerrie Spradlin, Wilford Hill, Sherry McGhee and James Hill.

Her survivors include her children, Auburn (and Betty Krause Hill, Mitzi (and Mark) McClain, Ruby and Jeff) Mendor, all of Blytheville, Mary and Jim)Blevin (Jim) of Mountain Home, and Chris and (Fran) Hill of Fultondale; and

Twenty-three grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was a minister, a devout Christian all of her life, and a member of the Church of God. She worked at the Holiday Inn and was a homemaker. She raised 10 children. Everybody who met Evelyn loved her and she was a kind person and loved everybody.

New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home directed services. Visitation was from 1-3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with funeral services following at 3 p.m. Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery in Sipsey. The Rev. Margaret Buford officiated.
