Mrs. Wilma McDonald Andrews, 85, of Memphis, former longtime Leachville resident and widow of Mr. Louis McDonald, passed from this life Wednesday July 4, 2012, at the Gallaway Nursing Center in Gallaway, Tenn.

Born and raised in Leachville, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Alburta Knight Baledge and had also lived in Paragould and West Memphis. She moved to Memphis 15 years ago and was a member of the Wells Station Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Herbert F. Andrews; and a brother, Billy James Baledge.

Survivors include, one son, Michael McDonald of Bowling Green, Ky.;

A daughter and son-in-law, Judy and William Persell of Arlington, Tenn.;

A step-son, Dennis Andrews of Houston, Texas;

A step-daughter, Sheila Graham of Pontotoc, Miss,;

Two grandchildren, Wes Persell and his wife, Shannon, and Courtney McDonald; and

Two great-grandchildren, Parker and Miles Persell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with the Rev. Danny Berryhill officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery.
