Kenneth Leland "Kenny" Kuhn

Mr. Kenneth Leland "Kenny" Kuhn, 54, of Casey, Ill., passed away at 11:25 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 9, 1957, in Joliet, Ill., the son of Leland James Kuhn and Martha Virginia Whitely Kuhn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Daniel Lee Kuhn; and sisters, Terri Joliff and Patricia Ann Kuhn.

Survivors include his special friend, Dody Cain of Effingham Ill.;

A son, Kenny Kuhn and his wife, Barb, of Blytheville;

Three brothers, Steve Kuhn and wife, Sindee, Eddie Kuhn and wife, Cindy, and Mike Kuhn and wife, Dawn, all of Casey, Ill.;

A sister, Peggy Lamb of Casey;

Five grandchildren, Amber Shepperson, Stephanie Thomas and Kenneth "Mini" Miles Jr., all of Blytheville;

A brother-in-law, Vic Joliff of Centralia, Ill.;

A sister-in-law, Joelena Kuhn of Tennessee;

Eighteen nieces and nephews;

Several great-nieces and great-nephews; and

A whole bunch of friends.

Kenny was the owner of the Kuhn's Saloon in Casey, Ill. Prior to purchasing the business he was a concrete worker for San-Con in upper Sandusky, Ohio, for 30 years. Kenny was a member of the Casey Moose Lodge, the Casey Chamber of Commerce and he was recently awarded the Casey Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for July 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. today at the Markwell Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, Ill.
