William "Pitty-Pat" Yarbrough

Mr. William "Pitty-Pat" Yarbrough, 46, of St. Louis, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Born July 19, 1965, in Blytheville to Lillie V. Yarbrough and the late Haywood Dean, he attended Blytheville High School and graduated from Normandy High School in 1983 in St. Louis. He was a professional skater, street evangelist, mentor to many people and enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Lindoy Dean; and one sister, Linda Yarbrough Patterson.

Mr. Yabrough leaves five children, William Yarbrough Jr., Angela Yarbrough, Tracy Yarbrough, George Yarbrough and Marcus Yarbrough, all of St. Louis;

Nine sisters, Emma Degraffenreif and Lestell Bonds of St. Louis, Carolyn Ferguson of Cleveland, Tenn., Annette Strong and Kimberly Yarbrough of Blytheville, Leatha Chestnutt of Phoenix, Ariz., and Sue Jones, Teresa Dean and Luretha Dean of San Diego, Calif.;

Five brothers, Willie Yarbrough Jr. and Bobby Yarbrough of Kansas City, Mo., Donnie Yarbrough and Rickey Yarbrough of Blytheville, and Freddie Lee Wheeler of Oakland, Calif.; and

A host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at William C. Harris Funeral Home, 9825 Halls Ferry Road, St. Louis. The family will receive visitors at 10 a.m. the same day.
