Margaret Elaine Jett Tillman

Mrs. Margaret Elaine Jett Tillman, 79, of Blytheville, died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Great River Medical Center. Born in Tomato to Lee and Leona Myrick Jett, she was a homemaker and a member of Clearlake Baptist Church.

Margaret loved gardening, tea parties with the grandchildren, canning vegetables, baking, talking on the phone and her dogs. She enjoyed a simple life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Sylvester Jett, Gene Jett and Billy Joe Jett.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 62 years, Sam Tillman Jr., of the home;

A son, Darrell Lewis Tillman and his wife, Terry, of Blytheville;

Two brothers, A.B. Isbell and his wife, Eileen, of Corinth, Miss., and Jamie Isbell and his wife, Pat, of Tacoma, Wash.;

Two sisters, Mary Ann Taylor and Opal Mercer, both of Batesville, Miss.;

Four grandchildren, Jeremy and Amy Tillman, and Chad and Tiffany Tillman of Blytheville; and

Five great-grandchildren, Brayden Tillman, McKenzie Tillman, Gracie Tillman, Kylee Tillman, Ava Claire Tillman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 p.m. Saturday until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
