Clarence Henry Christianson

Mr. Clarence Henry Christianson, 79, of Blytheville, died Friday, May 4, 2012, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. Born in Waukegan, Ill., to John Henry and Hattie Myrtle Branson Christianson, he was a retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant, and a member of the First Christian Church in Osceola. He was an avid stamp collector and loved to read. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Pearl Marie Gephart Christianson of the home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Winterowd Christian Church, Winterowd, Ill. Burial will be in Arborcrest Memorial Park in Effingham, Ill. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Local arrangements were conducted by Cobb Funeral in Blytheville.
