Betty Pennington Webster

Mrs. Betty Pennington Webster, 81, of Swifton, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at her residence. Born in Oak Ridge, Mo., to Marvin Bert and Emma Lee Byrn Pennington, she was a retired administrator of Regional Health Care Nursing Home, and was a member of Swifton Baptist Church.

Betty was valedictorian of the Armorel High School Class of 1951. She loved the outdoors, crafts, needlework, and her dog, Cassie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Webster; her son, Steven Michael Webster; and a grandson, Eric Webster.

Betty leaves her daughter, Jayne Wagster, and her husband, Russell, of Swifton;

Her sister, Daisy B. McGee of Cape Girardeau; Mo.;

Her grandchildren, Douglas Webster, Christopher Webster and Abbe Wagster; and

A host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. this morning at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with the Rev. Teddy Rhea and the Rev. Donald Lewert officiating. Online condolences may be sent to cobbfuneralhome.com
