Bethel Ferrell

Mrs. Bethel Ferrell, 85, of Blytheville, passed from this life Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Great River Medical Center.

Born in Caruthersville, Mo., to Lexie and Mary Ollie Willis, she was a retired supervisor for Columbia Ribbon and a member of the Church of Christ. She loved to sew and enjoyed playing cards. Bethel was a devoted mother and grandmother whose life revolved around her children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Aubrey Ferrell; a daughter, Rita Ferrell; a brother, J.R. Willis; and a sister, Doris Long.

She is survived by a daughter, Judy Ellison of Blytheville;

A son, John Ferrell of Jonesboro;

A sister, Teresa Thompson of Braggadocio, Mo.;

Five grandchildren, Mitch, Marty and Mickey Craig, Zack and Zeb Ferrell; and

Five great-grandchildren, Gavin, Gracesyn and Gabrielle Craig, Paxton and Parker Craig.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville with Mr. Greg Groves officiating. There will be no visitation. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
