Mrs. Marion Francis Fox, 88, of Lenoir City, Tenn., formerly of Manila, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, in Lenior City.

Mrs. Fox was born Dec. 17, 1923, in Evansville, Ind., the only child of Marvin and Lydia Wagner Hubbard. She was a 1942 graduate of Cass Technical High School in Detroit. She married her beloved William G. "Billy" Fox Feb., 20, 1943, and shared 64 years together until his passing. During their years in Manila, Mrs. Fox was a superintendent of Sunday School at First United Methodist Church, a communion steward, usher and Sunday School teacher. She also started the Manila Cub Scouts. In Lenoir City, she was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Volunteers Sunday School Class of Central United Methodist Church.

She leaves behind two sons, Gary Fox and wife, Barbara, of Lenoir City, and Rick Fox and wife Joy of Anna, Ill.;

Six grandchildren, Angela Fox and husband, Charles Hooker, Kristin-Fox Trautman and husband, Lucas, Captain Jonathan Fox and wife, Jennifer, Jessica Flinn and husband, Michael, Candace Capps and husband, Kent ,and Beth Putman; and

Ten great-grandchildren, Myra Trautman, Leia Trautman, Auden Fox, Sophie Putman, Jack Putman, Lydia Capps, Jude Capps, Hudson Capps, Kathleen Fox and Williams Fox.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Manila Cemetery with Mr. Gary Fox and the Rev. Jerry Pentecost officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked friends to consider Manila First United Methodist Church or the building fund of Central United Methodist Church in Lenoir City.
