Delois Guyton Sanders

Mrs. Delois Guyton Sanders, 72, of Blytheville, died Monday, March 26, 2012, at Great River Medical Center. Born in Burdette to the late Marshall Guyton Sr. and Fannie Clark Guyton, she was a assistant for Mississippi County Arkansas Economic Opportunity Commission Parent Center and a member of United Missionary Baptist Church in Gobler, Mo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several of her siblings.

Mrs. Sanders leaves her husband, Charles Sanders of Blytheville;

One son, Larry (and Dedra) Guyton of Blytheville;

Five brothers, Arthur (and Lena) Guyton, Johnny (and Lois) Guton, Willie (and Willie B.) Guyton, Dave (and Emma) Guyton and Thurman Guyton, all of Peoria, Ill.;

Six sisters, Pauline Dodson of Blytheville, Bernice Wilkerson of Peoria, Verline Johnson of Key Largo, Fla., Mary Logan, Bobbie Posey and Theodisha Guyton, all of Blytheville; and

Two grandchildren, two great-grand children and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Missionary Baptist Church with pastor. Odale Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. today at First Missionary Baptist Church.
