Charles Donald Collum

Mr. Charles Donald Collum, 81, of Osceola, entered into rest Monday, March 26, 2012, in Osceola. Born May 21, 1930, in Marigold, Miss., to the late Solomon and Fannie Mae Collum, he was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired paint contractor.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Collum, and his parents.

He is survived by his three daughters, Verna Reynolds of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Nancy Roofener of Rockwell, N.C., and Lisa Tarbox of Lanchester, S.C.;

Three sons, Charles David Collum of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Donald Lynn Chamberlain of Marion, and Ronnie Roofener of Charlotte, N.C.;

One sister, Mary Francis Hubbard of Idaho;

One brother, Solomon Collum Jr. of Port Arthur, Texas; and

Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens. An online guest book can be signed at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
