More questions on water situation

Tuesday, March 27, 2012

To the editor:

I have a question. Why does the businesses in this town pay less on their water useage than the residents? I think this is an injustice to the residents here. I'm so tired of this town and the people that calls themselves running this town. Not only is this not fair and the haves get all these breaks and the have not have to take up the slack or should I say the city was again is piggy back on the poor. Why the businesses in this town water base rate is lower than the residents and why some businesses don't pay for water useage at all, not only that they also don't pay the $5 surcharge that the residents are being billed. Why can't this city be fair to all, there are busineses in this city that use hundred thousands of gallons of water but their bill is the average of my useage which is about 6,000 gallons a month. I reallly hate that this tax passed because again the city is using the citizens and making a fool of them. For the life of me I can't understand why someone would vote to tax themselves.

What about this Mosley person getting paid for mileage and uses city gas to ride around in on and off duty. Is this double dipping or is it double stealing either way I know employees get fired from the city for less offense than that. Why is this man still employed by the city. What is wrong with you people that sit on the City Council. Mrs. M. Langston I'm surprised at you for not requesting the resignation of this person. This city is never going to recover, the infraustrure is too great. The streets are in bad disrepair and they need a complete over haul not a patch job. Every street in this town is in need of a overhaul. The city seems to me a big ball of corruption, especially in the waterworks and the golf course conspiracy. I wonder how they going to two step around explaining about the water situation between the businesses and the residents with the differences in the billing.
