Mrs. Ida Mae Wallace, 94, of Osceola, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at SMC Regional Medical Center in Osceola.

She was a homemaker and a member of Living Word Cathedral Church of God in Christ and was on the Mother Board.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Dunigee and Alice Williams; her husband, Aubrey Wallace; two sons, Bobby Wallace and John Wayne Wallace; and one sister, Rosie Williams.

She leaves behind five daughters, Willie Ann Matthews of Saginaw, Mich., Emma Wallace Beatty of St. Louis, Mary Johnson, Carolyn Sue Walters and Tamara Johnson all of Osceola;

Five sons, Aubrey "Chuck" Wallace Jr. of Pittsburg, Calif., Roosevelt Wallace of Wichita, Kan., Edward Wallace of Pine Bluff, Lee Oscar Wallace of Osceola and Melvin Baker of Memphis; and

Thirty-two grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Promiseland C.O.G.I.C. with Elder Archie Thomas. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
