Bobbie Jean Picotte, 76, of Manila, widow of Theodore Picotte, died Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, in Kennett. Born at Manila she was the daughter of the late Ned and Nora Osborne Rice and had been a lifelong area resident. Bobbie was a homemaker and a Baptist.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Carey.

She is survived by one daughter, Donna Kilbreth of Kennett, Mo., one son, Dan Carey of Lone Jack, Mo.; one sister, Mary Sue Robirds of Manila; three grandchildren, Angela, Dawn, and Kevin; three great-grandchildren, Leigh, Cheyenne, and Alex. She also leaves her step-grandchildren, Amanda Kilbreth, Joshua, Jessica, and Nathan Anderson, and six step-great-grandchildren, Conner, Kearla, Christion, Jackson, Ivan III, and Clara Belle.

Funeral service was 1 p.m. Saturday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. William Piercy and Rev. Bob Taylor officiating. Burial followed in Manila Cemetery.

The family received visitors from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time.

Pallbearers included Monti Minor, Chris Seats, Dustin Tyson, Kenny Redman, Wayne Shaw and Charles Pollard.
