JoAnn Johnson

JoAnn Johnson, 51, of Osceola, went to be with her Lord Saturday, March 3, 2012, at TLC Nursing Center in Osceola.

JoAnn was born in Blytheville to Earnest and Evelyn Ann Russell Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John Ed Johnson and Jackie Ray Johnson, and a special uncle, Hershel Johnson.

She is survived by her sisters, Janet (and Pete) Mendez of Gosnell, Jane (and Harold) Brewer of Forrest City, and Donna (and Larry) King of Greenbrier;

Five nephews, Jackie Ray Johnson of Salem, Ill., Brad Johnson of Blytheville, Hershel Farrow of Orlando, Fla., Richard Mendez of Gosnell and Trey (and Powell) King of Greenbrier;

Seven nieces, Jena Mann and Maria Mendez, both of Gosnell, Heather Reddick of Blytheville, Brooke Reed of Hernando, Miss., Brittany and Suzanne Green, both of Greenbrier, and Jennifer Johnson of Forrest City; and

A sister-in-law, Lori Johnson of Hardy.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Moore and the Rev. Sarah Scott officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
