Mrs. Bobbie Jean Picotte, 76, of Manila, widow of Mr. Theodore Picotte, died Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, in Kennett, Mo. Born in Manila, she was the daughter of the late Ned and Nora Osborne Rice and had been a lifelong area resident. Bobbie was a homemaker and a Baptist. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Carey.

She leaves one daughter, Donna Kilbreth of Kennett;

One son, Dan Carey of Lone Jack, Mo.;

One sister, Mary Sue Robirds of Manila;

Three grandchildren, Angela, Dawn and Kevin; and

Three great-grandchildren, Leigh, Cheyenne, and Alex.

She also leaves her step-granddaughter and caregiver, Amanda Kilbreth, and three step-great-grandchildren, Conner, Kearla and Christion.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. William Piercy and the Rev. Bob Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time.
