Michael Lynn Brown

Mr. Michael Lynn Brown, 35, of Newbern, Tenn., died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-East in Memphis. Born Jan. 22, 1977, in West Virginia, he was employed by Nucor Steel.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Lynn Brown.

Mr. Brown leaves his wife, Tonya Brown of Newbern;

One daughter, Brianna Brown of Newbern;

One step-daughter, Jenna Eagle of Newbern;

His mother and step-father, Anna and Buddy Johnston of Halls, Tenn.;

One sister, Sarah Battles and her husband, Danny, of Halls; and

One step-brother, Sam Johnston and his wife, Connie, of Halls.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern. Graveside services, officiated by the Rev. Michael Crandall, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Tenn.
