Mr. Reginald R. Conley, 56, of Blytheville, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

He was born in Blytheville but lived in Chicago for many years before returning here. After his graduation from high school, Reggie enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of Open Door House of Prayer.

Reggie enjoyed many hobbies and had an outgoing personality and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Conley and Bernice Tarkington Conley; and his son, Reggie Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie J. Conley of the home;

Two daughters, Ms. Ebonique Kemp of Chicago and Ms. Jessica Spencer of Warner-Robbins, Ga.;

One step-daughter, Ms. Regina Spencer of Warner-Robbins;

One step-son, Robert (and Dorothy) Smith Jr. of Blytheville;

Two sisters, Mrs. Regina (and Rev. Gerald) Hopkins of Blytheville and Mrs. Nore Hare of Chicago;

Four grandchildren, Jamya, Jayla, Jaylin and Jurnee;

One niece, Ms. Chrystall Harris;

One nephew, Gerald Hopkins Jr.; and

Grand-nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Missionary Baptist Church at 600 E. McHaney with the Rev. Odale Jones and the Rev. Henry Mayes (his pastor) officiating. Military rites will be held at burial at Gethsemane Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home in Blytheville.
