Lenora Ramirez

Mrs. Lenora Ramirez, 86, of Luxora, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Born in Houston, Texas, she was a homemaker, a member of the Catholic faith and married to the late Patricio Ramirez for 43 years.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Josefia Cornia and Pablo Gonzales; one sister, Cucca Gonzales; and two brothers, Paul Gonzales Jr. and Zekiel Gonzales.

She leaves four daughters, Josephine Bryeans and Julie Culbreath of Jonesboro, Connie Ashley of Osceola and Mickey Razer of Keiser;

Five sons, Patrick Ramirez Jr. and Felix Ramirez of Manila, Michael Ramirez, Paul Ramirez and Danny Ramirez of Luxora;

Two sisters, Lupo Guerro and Helen Gonzales of Houston, Texas;

One brother, Johnny "Blackie" Gonzales of Lake Horn, Texas; and

Thirty-four grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Strong officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville.
