Jeremy Shane Carruth

Mr. Jeremy Shane Carruth, 30, of Manila, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at his home. Born in Osceola, he had been a carpet layer and a lifelong Manila area resident. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Elsie Carruth, and his maternal grandparents, Luke and Lucille Kimble; three uncles and one aunt.

He leaves his parents, James and Janice Kimble Carruth of Manila;

Two brothers, Christopher Carruth and his wife, Tina, and Mitchell Rosten Carruth and his wife, Angela, all of Manila; and

Three nieces and four nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila. Burial will follow at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah. Pallbearers will be Michael Spencer, Jason Carr, Jeremy Page, Jason Yarbro, Donnie Kirk Jr. and Orville Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Greer, Jamie Seymoure and Mitchell Carruth.
