Thanks to those who made Survivor Dinner happan

To the editor:

I would like to thank the many people who worked so hard to make the American Cancer Society Survivor Dinner a success. It is encouraging to see the many survivors from our area who our beating this disease.

As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to an end, I would like to encourage all women to have their annual mammogram. As a breast cancer survivor, I know how important it is to have your annual screening; early detection is the key.
