James Lee Howard

Mr. James Lee Howard, 76, of Marked Tree, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at Three Rivers Nursing Home in Marked Tree.

He served in the United States Army, was a retired factory worker and a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Bulah Howard; and his spouse, Dora Howard.

He leavesone daughter, Cindy Buckner of Chicago;

One son, Gerald Butler of Indianapolis, Ind.;

One sister, Mahalie Howard of Memphis; and

A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until the service. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery in Lepanto.
