Pauline Parrish, 82, of Monette passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 6, 1929, in Monette to the late Bud and Bessie Davidson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

She was survived by a daughter, Deborah Porter of Evening Shade; two sons, Jimmy White of Evening Shade and Danny White of Monette; a brother, Boyd Davidson of Lake City; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Bill White; a sister, Lorene Taylor; a brother, Elvis Davidson and a grandson, Bud White.

A celebration of her life will be held Friday, September 23, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with Rev. Rick Hathcoat and Rev. Jerry Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, at the Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Zac Tharp, Scott Williams, J. D. Sparkman, Sammy McKee, Mark Liles, Rolland Lancaster, James Pendergrass and Douglas Sims.
